Favorite Images
Mercury Floating on Water, is one of my favorite images of all time. It’s a symbol of the excitement that came from my work in the discovering the physics behind the elusive “mercury transport mechanism”. This image was taken using a Cannon 20D camera with the lens sitting directly on the eye piece of my microscope. The mercury in this image was recovered during a stream cleaning experiment.
Golden Quartz Whale Tail
I carved this Whale Tail near the end of last century utilizing Gold Laced Quartz from the California gold country. This image was done in a Photographic style that I call “Black Hole Photography”.
